Ruth believes that we need to bring quality union jobs into the Antelope Valley so our residents can stop paying a gas tax by driving highway 14 everyday just to make a living wage.
Infrastructure
Let’s get the airport completed! The airport will attract business and commerce leading to more quality union jobs in the Antelope Valley and putting an end to the gas tax you pay just to get a living wage.
Environment
The green jobs are coming, let’s make the Antelope Valley the home for these new jobs and make sure our unions are equipped to train workers now, so we are the home for the future.
Healthcare
We need another hospital in the Antelope Valley, so we can make sure that all the essential services we need to make sure we are healthy are here and not 55 miles away.
Education
As a teacher, Ruth understands that we need to make sure our kids have the best future possible. The best schools and resources should not be 55 miles away, but rather in our backyard.
Immigration
During her time as a teacher, Ruth developed an understanding of the multi-generational trauma that the immigration process creates by counseling her students and their families for many years.
